3. Visitor parking permits
Visitor permits are issued to a specific property, and only one visitor permit will be issued per household. You will need to provide proof of address, such as a council tax bill or utility bill which needs to have been issued within the last three months.
Cost
There is no charge for a visitor permit.
Apply
Apply for a visitor permit online
Once we have received your application, we will post the permit to the address given within ten working days.
Multiple visitors
If more than one vehicle needs to park at your property whilst the zone is in operation, you must ask them to use off-street parking if possible.
Alternatively you can
contact us for permission to allow extra vehicles to park for the duration of their visit.
You need to let us know:
- the location of the property
- dates and times of visit(s)
- make and registration number of visiting vehicle(s)
Renew
You need to renew your permit every year. We will send you a reminder when it is due to expire.

Replacement permits cost £10.
Lost or damaged permits

Stolen permits
If you are able to provide a crime reference number, you will not be charged.
