What to expect from your contractor 

  • You should be contacted to arrange or confirm your appointment.
  • They should explain if there's a delay or further work needed.
  • You have the right to ask questions or raise concerns with them directly.

If you're not satisfied with your contractor

If your contractor hasn’t responded or you’re unhappy with the repair, call us on 0800 188 4000 or 0113 376 0410.

We aim to respond within 3 working days (Mon–Fri) once your issue has been raised but we will always aim to prioritise urgent issues.

Stage What can you expect
Appointment confirmation Should usually be confirmed within a few working days
Missed visit follow-up Contractor should notify or rebook promptly
If we can't access your home We will attempt to contact you if nobody is at home when we visit. If we are still unable to arrange access, we will leave you a notice telling you how to rearrange. 

If the visit is urgent, we will make further attempts to contact you to rearrange the visit. 

If the visit is non-urgent, we will cancel the inspection, and you will need to contact us to rearrange.
Further works needed Contractor should agree a follow-up timeframe
If unresolved You can escalate to Leeds City Council
