The report is updated and published annually, typically a year after the relevant monitoring period, reflecting the necessary time for the data to be available and presented within the document.
We monitor planning policies as a statutory duty to check that these are having their intended effect and to make sure they are working for local communities. If any interventions are needed, these will be identified in the monitoring report.
The report will contain information on:
- the progress made on documents included in the Local Development Scheme
- progress with neighbourhood plans
- the Community Infrastructure Levy
- monitoring indicators
- the availability of a five year housing land supply
