When you visit, try not to come near closing time. That way, the team will have plenty of time to help you as much as possible.

What happens next

After your initial interview we'll arrange a full housing assessment and agree your personal housing plan. This session will last between 1 and 2 hours.

We'll let you know in writing whether or not you're eligible for housing support. This can take up to 56 days, but we can usually let you know sooner than this.

You can request a review, which will be carried out by an independent officer. To request a review, write to the review panel at:

It is also possible to find out what other support is available if we decide you are not eligible for housing assistance.
