Gotts Park, Armley

Gotts Park is three miles west of Leeds city centre and is approximately 30 hectares in area. There is an 18 hole parkland golf course run by The Gotts Park Golf CIC club, who are located within the grade II listed Gotts Mansion.

The park borders Armley park and is the perfect location for people of all age ranges to enjoy a relaxing day out and gives local residents and visitors amazing views over the Kirkstall Valley.

The 72, X6 and X11, all run regularly to and from Leeds.

The toilets in the Golf Club at Gotts mansion are open to the public to use.

Volunteering

The Friends of Armley parks-and-countryside Gotts Park meet twice a month to do work to improve the area, help with gardening, nature conservation and generally look after the park:

  • every second Sunday for a practical or social activity (families welcome)
  • every fourth Thursday for a practical task
