As a council tenant, you will have an annual gas safety check on any gas heating systems in your home. This a free appointment that could save the lives of you, your family and neighbours.
If you don't let us carry out the gas safety check, you will breach your Tenancy Agreement and we will take legal action.
If gas appliances are not working properly, they may cause a fire or explosion in your property. You could also be at risk of carbon monoxide leaks and poisoningExternal link , which can be fatal.
