Annual gas checks

As a council tenant, you will have an annual gas safety check on any gas heating systems in your home. This a free appointment that could save the lives of you, your family and neighbours.

Your annual check

We will contact you in advance to let you know when we are coming. If you need to rearrange the appointment, please contact us immediately.

If you don't let us carry out the gas safety check, you will breach your Tenancy Agreement and we will take legal action.

If gas appliances are not working properly, they may cause a fire or explosion in your property. You could also be at risk of carbon monoxide leaks and poisoning, which can be fatal.
