Equality Assembly Hubs

The Equality Assembly is made up of a number of hubs that offer a range of equality groups the opportunity to meet and work together to let the council know about the issues that affect them.

Each hub creates a welcoming space for communities, groups, and organisations to connect, network, and share experiences. This space allows people to have their say in addressing the needs of diverse communities, share ideas to shape services, and influence change to promote inclusivity.

Leeds City Council directly manages the LGBT+ Hub, Disability Hub, and Religion or Belief Hub. We also commission the Culturally Diverse Hub (with Voluntary Action Leeds), Older People’s Hub (with the Leeds Older People’s Forum), and Women and Girls Hub (with the Women and Girls Alliance – Leeds Women’s Aid).
