We want to offer you a range of opportunities for you to socialise and enjoy your free time. Groups and social activities can be a great way to meet new people and develop friendships and interests.

We also like you to suggest new ideas for activities. Tell your personal advisor about these.

Activities

Join activities in Leeds if you are a care leaver. 

Care leavers week

This is a national celebration for care leavers which takes place every year in the final week in October.                            

In Leeds we hold events throughout the week. Information can be found on the Clu’d up Facebook external link page or by contacting your personal advisor.                             

Unaccompanied asylum seeking children’s football team

For young people who are unaccompanied asylum seeking children, this is an opportunity to join weekly football training sessions.                            

It is open to all abilities. There is also a competitive league you may be able to get involved in which is based on ability.

Groups

You can join in groups that meet regularly to share experiences and also make new friends.

Care collective

A creative group focused around music and performing.

Care leavers council

A group of young people aged 17 to 25 who meet regularly and work together to improve the services care leavers receive from Leeds City Council and partners.         

A great way to meet other care leavers, share your views and experiences, and work together on important campaigns and projects.
