The earliest years of your child’s life, starting from pregnancy, are a crucial time for their health, development and wellbeing. Experiences during these years shape how your children grow, learn and form relationships, and can have a make a big difference to their future.
Leeds Best Start Family Hubs are welcoming places where you and your family can find help, advice and support from pregnancy through the early years and beyond.
Our hubs bring together services that support your child’s health, development and learning, making it easier for you to get the right support at the right time, in ways that work for you and your family.

Who the hubs are for
The new hubs build on the support offered through our Family Hubs. Both are here for all families with children and young people aged 0 to 19, and up to 25 if your young person has special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
What makes Best Start Family Hubs a little different is their stronger focus on pregnancy and the early years, especially from birth to age 5. These early years really matter for your child’s health, development and future opportunities, so we are here to support you and your family during this important time.
