The reasons we use your data
We use your information to process enquiries and search requests concerning the Local Land Charges register, to process invoices, and to deal with your property related correspondence.
Why we are allowed to use your data
The Council holds the data you provide to us only by your explicit consent, excepting for where we are providing a charged service (such as a Land and Propety search), in which case the information in question will be held as it is necessary for the performance of this contract.
Who we can share your data with
We may share information with other organisations where we are required by law to do so. This includes where disclosure is necessary to enable the Council or another organisation to exercise its statutory functions (for example, the Department for Work and Pensions or the Police).
