Statement of Community Involvement

The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) is the council’s statement on how the local community and others will be involved in the preparation of the Local Plan and the consideration of planning applications.

An independent inspector examined the soundness of the SCI following its submission to the Secretary of State on 27 April 2006.  The Inspector’s Report found the SCI to be sound subject to some minor amendments. The SCI was adopted on 21 February 2007.
