‘Just One Day’ is an annual one day event where local communities, businesses and organisations are encouraged to come together and raise awareness and support fundraising for the Lord Mayor’s charity.
Each year the Lord Mayor nominates a charity close to their heart. This year’s Lord Mayor, Councillor Al Garthwaite, has chosen to support Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service.
This year's 'Just One Day' will take place on Friday 17 May 2024.
What’s Your Day
We appreciate that a set date for organising a fundraising event may not always be convenient for everyone, or the best approach for their business or community, therefore you may wish to consider organising a ‘What’s Your Day’, so that people can support the campaign in their own way and at a time more convenient to them.
