Children and young people

You can get a library card and visit us at any age. Explore the Mini Playboxes, join a Story & Rhyme session or spend time in our children’s library areas.

With your free library card you can:

  • borrow up to 20 books

  • get eBooks and audiobooks with Borrowbox

  • read comics and magazines with Libby

  • request books from any library

  • internet and computer access

  • access to online resources

Children’s events 

Leeds Libraries run regular free club and activities for children and young people. Free or affordable special events, like author events and theatre performances also happen throughout the year.
