In accordance with Neighbourhood Planning Regulation 14, Thorner Parish Council is undertook formal consultation on the draft Thorner Neighbourhood Plan between Monday 19 July and Tuesday 31 August 2021.
Proposed Thorner Neighbourhood Development Plan
Thorner Parish Council has produced a neighbourhood development Plan which covers the whole of the civil parish of Thorner.
The plan contains a vision for Thorner along with a set of objectives, planning policies and proposals and community actions to achieve the vision. The plan contains draft policies on the following themes:
Policy theme A: Development
- design of new development
- building extensions
- garden development
- light pollution
- parking
- flooding
Policy theme B: Green spaces
- local green spaces
- trees
- views
- pedestrian and cycle links
