Current and upcoming improvement schemes

Some major schemes currently underway or moving into delivery:

  • Leeds City Rail Station - work to create a world-class gateway to the city and significantly improve one of the busiest stations in the north of England is underway, due to complete in summer 2026
  • Lawnswood roundabout - major improvements are underway to make the junction safer for all road users, especially pedestrians, school children and cyclists
  • Leeds City Links - We're bridging existing gaps in the cycle network in the city centre, while providing wider pavements and better crossing points in places
  • A660 - Phase 3, the final phase of works has begun and is scheduled to complete spring 2027
