School crossing patrol
The School Crossing Patrol Service is operated by Civic Enterprise Leeds, it is a permissive duty carried out at discretion. Our policy follows the national guidance produced by Road Safety GB (2018).
To determine if a crossing qualifies for a School Crossing Patrol Warden then audits have to take place and be evaluated against the policy criteria which is set down in the guidance.
Where the crossing does not meet the criteria then a service can be provided at cost by Civic Enterprise Leeds.
