Important information: Public Access maps

We are currently experiencing issues with the functionality of some maps within our Public Access system (the system which allows you to view and comment on planning applications), and are working to resolve these as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Help with Business Rates

The council aims to collect all debts owed to it, but seeks to do so in a consistent and sensitive way.

If you are having problems paying your Business Rates it is important that you contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to agree an affordable payment arrangement with you. We can also advise you on any relief from rates to which you may be entitled and how to appeal against the rateable value of your property.

If you do not pay your rates and do not contact us we may have to take recovery action against you, which may increase the amount that you have to pay.

You can also seek comprehensive and impartial advice from Business Link - the official government website for business.

If you have several creditors and need help dealing with them you can seek further advice from Business Debtline, telephone 0800 197 6026.
