Business rates online services

Business rates online services
You can go online to:
• register for e-billing
• view your business rates account details
• set up a Direct Debit to pay your business rates
• notify us of a change of address
• pay your business rate

All these are listed under ‘Do it online’ on the right, and there is more information below about e-billing and viewing your account online.

E-billing
If you register for e-billing, we’ll send your business rates bill by email rather than through the post.  This will save the Council money, as well as being more environmentally-friendly.   To register for e-billing, you’ll first need to register to use our online services – just select ‘Register for e-billing’ under ‘Do it online’ and you will be taken to the registration page.

Once we’ve set up your e-billing request, we’ll send all future bills and adjustment notices to the email address you have given us, so please make sure you tell us if you change your email address. If our email is returned to us undelivered, we will cancel the e-billing arrangement and send your bill by normal post instead.

Below you will find a downloadable pdf. version of the Guide which is normally sent out with bills.

Viewing your business rates account details online

For security purposes, you’ll need to register for online services first – when you select the option ‘View your account’ under ‘Do it online’, you will be taken to the online registration page.
