Rawdon Neighbourhood Plan

Residents in Rawdon have voted in favour of the Rawdon Neighbourhood Plan being used to help determine planning applications in the area.

On Thursday 7 March 2024, a referendum was held in the Rawdon Neighbourhood Area. The referendum asked the question:

Do you want Leeds City Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Rawdon to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

The results of the referendum are as follows:

In accordance with Section 3 of the Neighbourhood Planning Act 2017, the Rawdon Neighbourhood Plan is to be considered "made" and part of the development plan for the purposes of determining planning applications.

The council must still formally make the plan, and further details will be published in due course.
