Artsmix

The Artsmix Arts, Crafts and Creative Produce market runs fortnightly on a Saturday from April until mid-October when it then goes weekly through until Christmas and offers a truly alternative shopping experience.

This is essentially an arts and crafts market where stalls are rented by people who look to sell their own work. In addition a maximum of 3 stalls (out of 20-25) are given to creative produce (food) traders. Please note, bought stock cannot be retailed on The Artsmix Market.

Artsmix handmade markets give local artists a chance to sell their hand crafted or personally designed work to the general public. Each market is different with a variety of different and unique traders, regularly featuring original fashion; several ranges of jewellery; scented candles, melts, soap and bath bombs; fabric, wooden and glass based homewares; photography, prints and original art, food and so much more.

Artsmix @ Albion Place is one of a number of markets taking place across West Yorkshire that promote emerging and established artists and crafts people.

Asian Bazaar

A celebration of Asian and Indian cultures this open air market gives neighbouring Bradford competition for all things eastern inspired.

The Asian Bazaar is held every Wednesday on the outdoor market from 10.30 to 5pm.

Stalls of softly woven silk saris jostle for space next to bright jewellery and exotic spices giving eager shoppers a taste of the subcontinent on their doorstep. Traders are always on hand to explain the finer points of Asian culture or help customers select the perfect spices for Indian inspired dishes to complement fresh produce bought from the Leeds Kirkgate Indoor Market.

The Bazaar includes traditional Indian cuisine from sweets and desserts to speciality meats, vegetables and spices. The Asian market also offers specific ceremonial jewellery and clothing for special occasions and brings an added diversity to Leeds Kirkgate Market, already home to Chinese, Polish and South African food stores.

Record Fair

Every second Saturday of the month.

The Leeds Record Fair usually has around 25 stallholders with 45+ tables of vinyl. An eclectic mix of collectable, rare and obscure records, and lots of bargains.
