Supplementary Planning Documents

Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD's) are part of the Local Development Framework (LDF) which carry weight when the Council makes decisions on planning applications.

Supplementary Planning Document (SPD's) build and expand on existing policies in the adopted Core Strategy, Development Plan Documents (DPD's) and Area Action Plans (AAP's).

The Council have adopted a series of SPD'S to supplement the policies in the Local Plan.
