On 5th May 2017 Leeds City Council submitted the Leeds Site Allocations Plan to the Secretary of State.
The Secretary of State has appointed Claire Sherratt DIP URP MRTPI and Louise Gibbons BA Hons MRTPI as Independent Inspectors to examine the Plan for soundness under section 20 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. Leeds City Council consulted on the Site Allocations Plan Publication Draft Plan in September 2015 and on the Revised Publication Draft Plan proposals for the Outer North East in September 2016. The Pre-Submission Changes where advertised in February 2017.
The Submission Draft Plan includes Pre-Submission Changes made prior to submission in response to the representations received on the publication of the Plan. The Plan also includes further minor changes, none of which alter the meaning of the Plan.
As the Examination progress the Inspector may identify Main Modifications as necessary to make the Plan sound, they will be subject to consultation.

The document list will be updated throughout the examination process and remain online as the Plan progresses through examination.
