Core Strategy - Preferred Approach

The Core Strategy will set out the Council’s vision and strategic planning policies for the future development of Leeds over the next 15 years, and is the principal document in the Local Development Framework. The Core Strategy Preferred Approach was consulted on for 6 weeks between 26th October and 7th December 2009.  It was developed following consultation responses from the Issues and Alternative Options Consultation in Autumn 2007 and from updated evidence.

Consultation Responses to the Preferred Approach were considered and helped to develop the Core Strategy Publication Draft in Spring 2012.
