Polling district review

On 2 October 2018, pursuant of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013, Leeds City Council gave notice that it was conducting a review of all polling districts and polling places.

The Council invited representation and comments by not later than 6 November 2018.

Those representations were considered by the Council’s General Purposes Committee on 12 December 2018 and the Council’s initial proposals for the review have now been published and are available to view in the related documents section at the bottom of this page.

The Council will be pleased to receive comments on its initial proposals and for representations for alternative arrangements for consideration from any interested persons, again, particularly those with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability.

Representations should be sent in writing by 31 January 2019.

More information on how to submit a representation can be found in the Notice of Review - 13 December 2018, in the related documents section below.
