Review of Public Health services for children and young people aged 0-19 years
Leeds City Council works to help children and young people in Leeds have good health and wellbeing. Part of this work is delivered by the Health Visiting Service, the Specialist Community Public Health Service (also known as School Nursing) and the Oral Health Promotion Service (Children’s Dental Health). These services have a really important role in supporting babies, school age children and young people to have good health and wellbeing.
Leeds City Council is seeking views on these services and is actively engaging with all stakeholders to ensure that these services meet the needs of local people. We would value your feedback about what is working well currently and how we can develop services so that we continue to improve the health of our children, young people and families.
The outcome of the consultation will be published online and will inform the future model of the Health Visiting Service, the Specialist Community Public Health Service and the Oral Health Promotion Service.
Please complete our survey on the Health Visiting Service – the closing date is 30 April 2017.
