Beckhill Neighbourhood Framework

Council officers, alongside ward councillors, local residents and businesses, have prepared a Neighbourhood Framework for the Beckhill estate in Meanwood.

Proposals include developing new homes; environmental, road and pathway improvements; possible changes to games and play areas, fencing and parking.

In February 2014, lots of residents came along to Stainbeck Church to see and comment on those proposals. A draft Neighbourhood Framework was then presented at roadshow visits in early July so that people could see how their views had been used and to make any further contributions they wished.

The final draft of the Framework was presented to Leeds city Council’s Executive Board on 17 September 2014 and approved as informal planning guidance to support regeneration in the area.

The end result is available as a download from the expandable Documents section on this page. If you would prefer to have a copy sent to you, or would like to talk to someone about it, please ring us on 0113 2476241, or contact us by email.
