Volunteer with the Youth Service

Do you want to volunteer and work with young people in your spare time? If so then volunteering for the youth service is for you. The youth service offers a range of activities and services for young people aged from 11 to 19. You could help out at a regular youth club, support a sports or outdoor activities programme like the Duke Of Edinburgh Award or maybe even drive the van for one of our mobile provisions.

Volunteering for the youth service is a great way to gain experience of working with young people and develop a new skill set. All our volunteers need to agree to a full Criminal Records Bureau check (CRB) to ensure that you are the right type of person to work with young people.

If you are interested in working with young people and would like to get involved in supporting youth services, please email us at youthserviceinfo@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to work in a particular area let us know that too and we will refer your enquiry as appropriate.
