Wharfedale View - Extra Care Living

Extra care living gives you a chance to join in with social events and activities.

Wharfedale View has a relaxing ground floor lounge opening onto an enclosed landscaped garden, a restaurant with dining room and a spa area with hairdressing and beauty therapy.

You can entertain family and friends in your own home or dine in the restaurant. A well-equipped visitor’s suite can be booked for a small charge by family and friends wanting to stay longer than a day.

Experienced care staff will be able to respond 24 hours a day via our call system installed in each apartment.

Residents who are renting apartments and those who part own aprtments will have additional charges to pay.

Services and chargesServices and charges<div class="ExternalClassC5E44E1C28DB486AB1D46A80CF0853CC"><p>In addition to the weekly rent, you will also need to pay for the following services:</p> <p><strong>£45.12 per week*</strong></p> <ul> <li>Care provided by on-scheme experienced care staff available to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day via a call system.</li> <li>A care provider will be available on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The care provider will be available to respond to emergencies but to also provide planned additional support such as assistance to get up on a morning, assist with personal care/washing/bathing, and administration of medicine.</li> </ul> <br> <p><strong>£21.00 per week*</strong></p> <ul> <li>Housing Leeds support - Housing Officers will be on site Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm. They can offer housing related support, deal with tenancy management issues, ensure building and grounds are looked after and help facilitate activities.</li> </ul> <br> <p><strong>£27.00 per week*</strong></p> <ul> <li>Communal area gas, electricity and water costs.</li> <li>Cleaning of communal areas.</li> <li>Grounds maintenance.</li> <li>External window cleaning and internal window cleaning of communal areas.</li> <li>Communal area TV licence.</li> <li>Buildings insurance (you will need to organise your own contents insurance).</li> <li>Costs associated with maintaining the communal areas such as: fire alarms, entry phone system and emergency light repairs, electrical inspections and gas servicing.</li> </ul> <br> <p><strong>£23.00 per week*</strong></p> <ul> <li>Future maintenance fund (applies to Shared Ownership apartments only)</li> </ul> <br> <p><strong>* Charges correct as at October 2016.
