Cardigan Green, Bramley

We have purchased 8 new 2 bedroom houses from a private developer as part of our Council House Growth Programme.

The new homes on this site were handed over in December 2016.

They are built to high standards using quality materials including:

 • Increased insulation and double glazed windows to reduce heating and costs
 • Open plan living and dining areas to create spacious and well lit houses

The homes also have a positive impact on the local community and will improve the quality of life for the tenants. They will contribute to our vision of being the best city to live in and the best city for health and well-being.

The new homes have been let under a local lettings policy in consultation with councillors, tenants and residents and we only let them to tenants who can demonstrate an excellent tenancy record.

To be considered for one of our new homes you must have an application registered on our Leeds Homes Register. You will have to place a bid when properties are advertised by Leeds Homes. Find out more on

The discount will take the cost of building your home into account.

This includes outside areas as well as inside your home (for example gardens or areas you share with neighbours).

you do not have a history of anti-social behaviour, causing nuisance or creating environmental issues.

We will also visit you at home and carry out an inspection of your property.
