What is a Recovery Hub?
Recovery Hubs are services for older people who are ready to leave hospital but who need a bit of extra care and support before they return to their own home.
A team of dedicated and experienced staff ensure that everyone receives a warm welcome and that support and care are tailored to individual needs and preferences.
We know that privacy and peace of mind are important to people. So everyone has their own room but there is also plenty of space to socialise with friends, family and other people using the service. Most people stay at the service for about three weeks. During this time staff work with each person on a personal recovery plan so that when they return home they can feel confident that they will be able to manage.
Everything is done to make each stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible with facilities such as a visitors and café area, beauty room, therapy area and a computer suite.
