Leeds Youth Offer

“The Youth Offer” is the term we use to describe the diverse range of Youth Work, sports, arts, and cultural opportunities and activities available to children and young people in Leeds. Every week hundreds of these opportunities are publicised through Breeze Leeds.

Leeds City Council provide youth offer services direct, and also commission them from the third sector. Youth work provision in Leeds is aimed at young people aged 11-17yrs (25yrs) who would most benefit from these opportunities.

The Youth Service Localities Team provides support to young people in various ways, including:

  • Gaining in confidence, self-esteem and motivation
  • Improving school attendance and engaging in learning
  • Learning to communicate and socialise with others
  • Eating healthily and taking part in physical activity
  • Raising awareness of misuse of drugs and alcohol
  • Support in dealing with emotional and mental health issues

The Youth Offer team includes:
