Ceremonies at Leeds Town Hall

Leeds Town Hall is Yorkshire's premier ceremony venue. A grade I listed building, it provides a magnificent setting for your ceremony.

Its address is Leeds Town Hall, The Headrow, Leeds, LS1 3AD.

As a multi-purpose building it is also a popular venue for conferences, concerts and other activities. Therefore we are unfortunately unable to guarantee that ceremonies will have sole use of the building on the day of your ceremony.

Whilst we will do our best to inform you in advance of your booking there may be occasions where other events are introduced at short notice. This may result in large numbers of people being present in the Town Hall and to changes in accessing the building as well the availability of building facilities. For example, on occasions it may not be possible to use the main entrance, vestibule and front steps.

Some of the events which have been arranged recently, sometimes at short notice, include a gin festival, a collector’s event, music concerts, sports events, a wine festival, a Christmas market and a film festival. Please note that should an alternative event adversely impact on your ceremony we are only able to provide refunds in line with our cancellation policy.

Ceremonies are available at the Town Hall between 9:15am and 4pm Tuesday to Friday and up to 3:45pm on Saturdays. The £50 wedding is only held on the last Monday of each month. Please see the what is the cheapest way to get married? section for further information.
