6 July 2018 – 6 Jan 2019
Leeds City Museum
An environmentally friendly exhibition displaying beautiful objects made by animals, from beavers to weaver birds. Learn about animals through the diverse objects, sound and light they create.
Discover how animals build homes, from the tiny leaf cases of leafcutter bees to the woven nests of weaver birds. Others make armour or camouflage, craft tools and traps to catch food or change their appearances to attract each other. Spiders spin a range of beautiful webs and funnels to catch their prey, while chimpanzees make tools perfect for catching termites.
