This winter, we have a fantastic variety of exhibitions and events, plus plenty of festive experiences for the whole family to enjoy.
With the final Kirkstall Abbey Deli Market of 2018 on the weekend of 24 & 25 November from 12 – 3pm, the magnificent backdrop of the abbey is the perfect place to pick up some locally made produce and gifts for Christmas.
The Christmas Experience at Lotherton will return for a third year from 23 Nov – 23 Dec. A truly festive event for the family with 12 Days of Christmas trail, visit Santa at the North Pole and the Elf Village.
Little ones can visit Father Christmas at Abbey House Museum each weekend throughout December to experience a traditional Victorian Christmas and receive a gift to take home. Write him a letter, decorate a Christmas ornament and join in the festive fun on our Christmas trail in the beautifully decorated streets.
Visit Temple Newsam throughout December to see the grade I listed house in all of its splendour with traditional games and elaborate decorations, plus Santa in residence each weekend.
Leeds City Museum will be hosting both Etsy Made Local on 2 & 3 December and Artistry – The Stall Makers Market on 8 & 9 December, featuring makers and creators from across Leeds with unique decorations and gifts to buy.
Over at Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills, visitors are invited to make their own reindeer feed bag to take home and leave out for hungry reindeer on Christmas Eve.
Between Christmas and New Year a number of the attractions will be hosting craft sessions and pop up events to keep the kids entertained throughout the school holidays.
