Leeds will host the country’s most prestigious triathlon for the fourth successive year when the ITU World Triathlon Series returns to the city on 8 and 9 June.
As well as
watching the elite athletes compete to become world champion, people can also enter mass participation events over the weekend, with distances to suit different abilities.
To ensure the AJ Bell World Triathlon Leeds runs smoothly there will be road closures and
changes to public transportover the weekend of 8 and 9 June.
During Sunday 9 June there will be road closures in Leeds city centre and other areas along the route, including Roundhay, Oakwood, Harehills, Moortown, Meanwood, Headingley and Burley. There will also be some road closures around Roundhay Park on Saturday 8 June between 5am and 2pm.
