Booking parks


Parks and Countryside sites host hundreds of events and activities every year including:

  • Community galas and festivals
  • Bonfires
  • Farmers markets
  • Popular and classical music concerts like ‘Party in the Park’ and ‘Opera in the Park’
  • Sponsored walks
  • Cultural events such as the Leeds Caribbean carnival and Reggae concert in Potternewton Park and the Asian Mela in Roundhay Park
  • Fun fairs and circuses
  • Regular fitness classes

Booking a park

If you would like to book a park for an activity which may disrupt normal use of the site, you will need to contact the Bookings and Licensing team no later than 8 weeks before the event takes place.

If the site is available on the day you have requested, you will need to fill in the relevant application form found in the Documents section. All documentation listed in the application form must be provided before the booking will be confirmed.
