- Whether you’re an experienced writer looking to develop your skills, or starting with a blank sheet of paper, you’ll find lots of help, support and creative input at one of our Writers’ Groups.
- Library writers’ groups usually meet once a month in local libraries for around an hour and a half. Anyone is welcome to join in, the meetings are relaxed, informal and fun. Group members have a mix of experience and abilities, from complete beginners to people who have had some success with getting their writing published.
- The groups all run in slightly different ways, but there will usually be a theme or exercise set each time, and group members will listen to and comment on each other’s writing. We are sometimes able to arrange for a published author to visit a group and share the secrets of their success.
