In Leeds we’re working hard to encourage 100 families of faith to foster with us.
We know that a lot of our existing foster carers are families of faith and between 2019 and 2021, we want to get at least 100 more families of faith to come forward and foster with us.
So far we have started working closely with
Migration Yorkshire to engage the cities Muslim community to care for and house unaccompanied asylum seeking young people fleeing places of persecution.
We have also entered into a partnership with
Home for Good, a Christian fostering and adoption charity, visiting churches to speak to religious leaders and their congregations.
If you're a person of faith and would like to foster, get in touch.
