PPE (personal protective equipment)

Get help with PPE stock

Find out how to get help with PPE for care homes, registered home care providers, unpaid carers, personal assistants, and council and community based staff.

We are helping to source, prioritise and deliver PPE across the health and care system in Leeds.

We're also ensuring that the latest Public Health England guidance is being followed.

How to get help with PPE

You should continue to order your PPE from your usual supplier where possible.

We have made the Local Resilience Forums stock of PPE available to care providers. We also have a limited amount of government supplied PPE to help for a short amount of time.

To get help with PPE, follow these steps.

  1. Check if you are eligible

We can help you get PPE if:

    • you are a CQC registered care provider
    • you are an unpaid carer or you look after a friend or relative
    • you employ a personal assistant to give you care and support in your home
  2. Contact us

There are several ways to contact us and start the ordering process:

  3. We call you back

We will call you to discuss your PPE requirements and confirm your order.

We might offer you PPE from government supplies or from our stock. If you get PPE from our stock you will be invoiced for it at cost price.

We'll deliver your order within 72 hours after making contact with you.

National supply

If you are struggling to get PPE, you should also contact the National Supply Disruption Response's helpline on 0800 915 9964.

They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
