Head of Civic Flavour, Mandy Snaith

Mandy is the Head of Catering for Leeds City Council and is passionate about customer experience and the quality of produce used. Mandy works to ensure our services are regularly reviewed and that the customer experience is exemplary. Customer views are our most critical indicator when identifying our success so Mandy is always looking at ways to improve communication and capture all feedback.

Business Manager, Nigel Crossland

Having worked in the catering industry for over 30 years, Nigel is a very experienced events manager with customers included HRH The Queen, Nelson Mandela, Civic and Corporate Dignitaries and many more. Nigel will ensure that your event is designed to meet your specific requirements and runs smoothly and efficiently on the day.

Mark Lee, Executive Chef

Mark is committed to the continual development of the services we offer our clients. Developing menus which are seasonal, fresh and modern is imperative to Mark who has exceptionally high standards when it comes to fine dining. With a wealth of experience working in restaurants and hotels throughout the region and overseas, Mark has an eye for detail. Mark is a family man who has returned home to Leeds with the experience of international catering, bringing fantastic ideas and flavours to the Civic Flavour table.

Joseph Horvath, Head Chef

Joseph is a classically trained chef who has worked to a Michelin standard with experience of running a number of 4 star hotels across the region, most notably holding the position of Executive Head Chef at The Queen’s Hotel, Leeds. Joseph is committed to flavour, locally sourced, fresh ingredients and delivering the best food and service possible.


We are in the process of recruiting catering apprentices who are passionate about food with a determination to learn, train and develop.
