Extension of mandatory HMO licensing

You will need to apply for a HMO licence before 1-10-2018 for any HMO occupied by five or more people. Please use the existing licence application form.

HMO licensing prosecutions 2018

We are visiting unlicensed properties and anyone who hasn’t renewed their HMO licence will face prosecution or a civil penalty. If you operate a licensable HMO (including managing agents) check our live licences. If the property you operate isn’t on the list…you’re not licensed.
