Street Cafés

Street cafes add vitality, colour, life and interest to the city centre’s street scene. They can help maximise the use of public spaces, aid the local economy and add to the experiences of people who visit, live, and work in Leeds.

Having a street café is a great asset to your business, giving you more space and brand awareness on the high street. A street café will also improve the experience for your customers, particularly in the summer months. If you wish to add street café to your business you will need to apply for a licence.

If your business serves food and you would like to see if your premises is eligible for a Street Café Licence our City Centre Management team are on hand to help, you can call them Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm on 0113 378 6646 or email streetcafes@leeds.gov.uk for further information and advice.
