Community parks
There are 65 community parks in Leeds. These green spaces contain a variety of facilities including playgrounds, sport pitches and gardens for local people to enjoy.
To find out the location of community parks in your area, go to
Google maps, and enter the park name into the search field.
Dogs
Our parks are dog friendly and you can find dog bins in several areas. You can report a
lost or found dog using our online form.
Play areas
Our playgrounds are inspected weekly to ensure they are safe to use but if you do spot a problem in a playground, you can report it by emailing
parks@leeds.gov.uk or calling 0113 378 6002.
Volunteer groups
Some community parks have 'Friends of' groups and volunteer groups that work in partnership with the Parks and Countryside service to keep them in top condition. To find out more about these, visit our
