Sheltered Housing is usually provided for people who are over the age of 60 and are vulnerable because they suffer from ill health or are frail or elderly.
Our sheltered schemes range from purpose-built accommodation, studio flats and bungalows to multi-storey flats.
Most of our schemes have a communal area where residents and tenants living nearby can gather for social events such as coffee mornings and a range of activities. Most of our sheltered accommodation is fitted with a communal laundry room with at least one washing machine and tumble drier and a communal kitchen for use by the residents.
All of our sheltered accommodation is fitted with an ‘alarm’ connected through to Care Ring, a 24-hour, seven days a week emergency service.
The schemes are designed so you can keep your independence, with a range of services aimed at giving you control over your life.
Available Sheltered Housing is advertised on the Leeds Homes Website (www.leedshomes.org.uk).
