Tea Room :

Temple Newsam Tea Rooms are situated in the Stable Courtyard, open every day in summer, closed on Mondays in Winter. There is seating for 80 people inside, with additional tables outside.

A selection of traditional and more unusual teas and coffee are available to accompany your freshly baked scone or piece of cake.

Care is given to the café's carbon foot print, its food miles and fair-traded products. We source food for the café as locally as possible and you can even try our estate's own rare breed sausages and burgers.

On sunny days the ice cream shop is also open.

And for that special treat every Sunday in summer you can enjoy Lady Hertford's High Tea, a truly civilised experience.

The Tea Rooms can be contacted directly on (0113) 260 2453.

Summer : Monday to Friday 10.00-4.00, Saturday and Sunday 10.30-5.30.
