The Temple Newsam Oral History Project is part of the Heritage Lottery Funded "Work and Play : Life on the Yorkshire Country House Estate" Exhibition and associated events and activities, running from the 3rd of April to the 31st of October, 2007.

The Lottery Funded Project will enable visitors to explore the lives of some of those many hundreds of people, famous and anonymous, who lived and worked at Temple Newsam, who influenced and changed the landscape and whose industry and pastimes made Temple Newsam Estate what it is today.
