Reciprocating Saw
A horizontal frame saw made by John Pickles & Son Ltd of Hebden Bridge, circa 1880. This saw, using a reciprocating
blade, can cut logs up to a width of 36 inches but with the depth of cut accurate to a quarter of an inch.
Once used by an undertaker near Ripon, the saw was re-built here in the early 1980s and is currently powered
by a 12HP Crossley 2 stroke oil engine.
