Foster Mother

A round stoneware container with nine nozzles evenly spaced around the side and marked 'The Improved Arnold Foster Mother'. There is a rubber lid at the top where presumably it can be filled with milk or milk substitute so that it can be used, possibly with the addition of rubber teats on the nozzles, to feed young stock such as piglets or lambs.
