Baler

The advent of the baler meant that more straw or hay could be stored in less space because it was compressed before it was tied. This ram type baler is fed directly from the thresher, the straw is compressed with the aid of a gear-driven horizontal piston and it produces standard size bales and requires two people for the wiring.
