The Old Laundry
Recreated to look as it may have done in the early 1900s. It was used by the farm workers' families who
lived in the Dovecote from the 1920s onwards and prior to this, possibly, by the travelling workers
who lived in the bothy. The main feature of this room is the large set-pot used to heat the water
although we understand that it has also been used for boiling up pig food!
